Barber John's of Chico opens Barber John's on the Ridge!

It's the story of John Potter, the man who went from a licensed barber in 1975 to the big boss of Barber John's in 2008. He worked his way around California like a rolling stone before finally settling down in Chico and making a name for himself.

But hey, don't go thinking this is just any old barbershop. Oh no, no, no! Barber John's on the Ridge is THE go-to destination for anyone who gives a rip about their appearance and wants a quality haircut. We're not some cheap clip-joint, chop-shop or salon. We're in a league of our own.

We specialize in the latest clippered haircuts and business-style scissor haircuts. And let me tell you, we don't mess around. All of our clippered haircuts are tapered (faded) all the way down, and we throw in a shampoo, styling gel, hot lather neck shave, beard, and mustache trim for good measure. We'll even give you a courtesy neck trim between haircuts to keep you looking sharp.

Barber John's is now owned by Tammie and Walter Barbee. Tammie's been part of the gang since 2013, and let's just say she knows her way around a pair of scissors.
