Spring Craft Class: Hand-Crafted Nest w/ Needle Felted Wool Eggs
In this three hour class, you will create a realistic bird’s nest with wool eggs. We will start with a wire nest foundation and build it up using natural forest materials including sticks, pine needles, moss, lichen, dry leaves and more. The beautiful eggs are made with natural wool roving, created using a fun (and addictive) process called Needle Felting that involves poking unspun wool with special ribbed needles. This process will get your head spinning! We’re excited to have you for a morning or evening around our farm table creating beauty, making new friends and enjoying a delicious continental breakfast in the Saturday session or tea and dessert in the Thursday session.
