Please join Chamber and community members as we welcome Paradise Boutique Apartments with a ribbon cutting.
Paradise Boutique Apartments, located at 5900 Canyon View Drive, just north of the Feather River Hospital site, was a gracious senior retirement community prior to the Camp Fire. The main facility survived and newly upgraded and renovated by Guillon Inc. and Conroy Construction, Inc, brings needed rental apartments to the Ridge.
The 115-unit Paradise Boutique Apartments, formally known as Feather Canyon, celebrates its opening with a ribbon cutting on June 16 at 5:30 p.m. The building has fantastic views of the canyon setting, and its location allows for easy leisure walking and hiking. Residents will enjoy unique amenities, indoor common areas, a billiard table, lounge areas, library, game and TV rooms.
Phase one consists of 45 market rate units, consisting of studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units and 14 B&B/short term rentals. The apartments offer a unique living opportunity for seniors or veterans on fixed incomes. Additionally, the owners have donated 10 rooms to the Hope Crisis Response Network, a volunteer group helping to rebuild homes on the Ridge. The project was financed with private funds. Owners Doug Guillon and Pat Conroy are looking forward to the opportunity to provide much needed housing to the Ridge, for an ongoing, positive benefit to the community.
