Outdoor Life on the Ridge - Then & Now
John Muir, renowned naturalist and author, said, “The mountains are calling and I must go.” Residents of the Paradise Ridge have been going to the mountains—and the rivers, creeks, trails, and campgrounds—for many generations. The Gold Nugget Museum’s new exhibit, Outdoor Life on the Ridge--Then and Now, presents a local perspective of the Great Outdoors. Fishing, hunting, camping, horseback riding, swimming, and winter sports are on display. Personal recollections bring the exhibit to life. The exhibit opens on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, and runs through February 25. The Gold Nugget Museum is located at 502 Pearson Road in Paradise.
