OSHA 30 Certification - 5 Part Series
Contact Training Place directly regarding GRANT FUNDING AVAILABLE to cover full cost of either; 10 hour training on 4/8 & 4/12 for OSHA10 Certification, or 30 hour training in 5 sessions: 4/8, 4/12, 4/15, 4/19, 4/22 8 am - 2:30 pm (30 min. break) Contact thetrainingplace@butte.edu to see if your company qualifies for funding for this training (up to 100% discount). OSHA 30 training promotes a culture of safety in the workplace. OSHA 30 hour training is recommended for safety directors, forepersons, and field supervisors in industries. The OSHA 30-hour course is designed to provide a comprehensive examination of Occupational Health and Safety Administration standards, policies and procedures. The importance of OSHA and the rights and responsibilities that employers and employees have will be discussed. The course covers all the hazards you might encounter in different industries, from scaffolding to bloodborne pathogens. You'll learn safety procedures like lockout/tagout protocols, machine guarding and industrial hygiene. We will examine the California Code of Regulations (CCR) and the Codes of Federal Regulations (CFR). Also, we will examine how inspections are done and where help can be had. Design and implementation of plans. GLENN COUNTY series available upon request for May-June! CONSTRUCTION SKILLS also available through grant (including: CONFINED SPACE, HAZMAT, BLS, etc.)
