Depot Museum Exhibit - The Many Faces of Recovery
The fifth anniversary of the Camp Fire is coming up, and the entire Ridge community is working to commemorate this immensely significant event. The Gold Nugget Museum, in concert with the Camp Fire Collaborative, is offering a new exhibition that focuses on stories of hope, community, and the work still left to do. Visitors will learn about the growth of our community since the disaster, encounter personal testimonies from survivors who are working to rebuild their homes and lives, and discover the incredible community support network that emerged after the fire. The contributions of the Camp Fire Collaborative will be highlighted, and we will hear from case workers who are providing life-changing aid to Ridge residents while simultaneously rebuilding their own lives in this beautiful place we all call home.
