26th Annual Economic Forecast Conference
North State Economic Development Conference: celebrating 26 years of innovation and progress in the North State
Each year, the Center for Economic Development, part of the Northstate Planning and Development Collective at California State University, Chico, brings together key decision-makers from industry, government, and education to address the most pressing issues in economic development for the North State.
This year’s 26th Annual Economic Development Conference will feature presentations addressing Food Security, Tourism, Workforce, and more. At the time of publication, the program remains under development.
The event will feature economist Dr. Robert Eyler, who will present his annual economic forecast. Dr. Eyler is the President and Head of Research at Economic Forensics and Analytics and the Dean of the School of Extended and International Education at Sonoma State University. He also serves on the boards of Redwood Credit Union, a nonprofit financial cooperative, and SommSelect, a wine curation company. An accomplished author, Dr. Eyler has written extensively on topics such as economic sanctions, the wine industry, and monetary economics.
The conference will also include ample networking opportunities, making it a catalyst for ongoing discussion, collaboration, and action throughout the year.
