*Class Held In Person* This first class of the supervisor & manager series is designed for individuals who have transitioned into, or are preparing to transition into, a supervisor or management role within the past 12 months, as well as current people leaders preparing for their next level of leadership responsibility. The transition from a high-performing individual contributor to an effective leader can be challenging shifting from doing the work themselves to inspiring, guiding, and empowering a team. This dynamic and interactive 3-hour workshop provides practical tools to help aspiring and current leaders develop essential leadership skills and confidently step into their leadership roles. Learning Objectives: Describe the critical role supervisors and managers play in your organization and what the company expects. Gain understanding of the transition stages and determine what stage best represents your current experience making the transition into leadership. Master the key differences between excelling as an individual contributor and thriving as a leader. Develop essential leadership skills, including communication, delegation, and team empowerment.
