Moody Little Sister, from Portland, Oregon, will be playing at the Norton Buffalo Hall in Paradise on Friday, June 23rd at 7 pm. Doors open at 6:30 for drinks and snacks. Moody Little Sister is the folk-rock & soul duo of Naomi Hooley and Rob Stroup. They've performed 100 shows a year over the last half dozen years, starting out in back yards, living rooms, camping concerts before moving on to larger venues. This past March they opened for Indigo Girls at the Vashon Center for the Arts. They've also recently performed at The Sisters Folk Festival, Jacksonville Oregon's Britt Festival Stage, The Bite Of Seattle, The Aladdin Theatre, The Lincoln City Cultural Center Stage, and The Wildwood Festival to name a few. Moody Little Sister is on the rise! Transformation through community, nature, and the inward journey are major themes of MLS songs. Their live shows have been described as “transcendent” - and this quality has been captured on their debut record, "Wild Places,” a soundtrack for anyone on a journey to be more authentically themselves.
