Be The Community Festival

The BE THE COMMUNITY MUSIC FESTIVAL, a Benefit for Norton Buffalo Hall, will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2018, 5PM - 10PM, on both indoor and outdoor stages. Doors open at 4:30PM and the cost is $20 (Kids free!). Food and drink will be provided at a no host (cash only) bar and food truck. Performing will be Bird & Wag (Peter & Tricia Berkow, Jim Miller), Michael Bone, Maurice 'Big Mo' Huffman with Scott Shaw, Pat Hull, Mark McKinnon, The Paper Hats (David Bilinski, Dana Hanson, Brian Marshall, David Leon Zink, ...and other fine local talents! Paradise Community Guilds President David Zink said, “Our first Be The Community Festival brings back the collective of talents behind the recent Night of Leonard Cohen Music (Nov. 2018 and Mar. 2018), and introduces more great artists from our area into one big five-hour long, two-stage event featuring all original music! Artists will take turns playing sets on both outdoor and indoor stages, giving you two chances to hear them at their finest.” This is a fundraiser for the continuing efforts of Paradise Community Guilds at Norton Buffalo Hall to "Be the community you want to live in." PCG fosters a sense of community in Paradise by nurturing creativity, practicing stewardship of Nature, and promoting values of sustainability -- which means we work in a nonpartisan, non-denominational way to stimulate the arts with a weekly Open Mikefull (Wednesday nights) and almost monthly concerts; we encourage "the wondrous power of growing things" in our two gardens; we offer classes in t'ai chi; and partner with other community organizations to help Paradise rise to its promise!
