SUMMARY:Veterans Memorial Hall Mural Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the completion of an amazing new mural in Paradise located at the Paradise Veterans Memorial Hall.. Join us in celebration with the incredible artist Steve Ferchaud\, project manager Jess Mercer\, and members of the Paradise Veterans Group. Let's gather in solidarity as we enter into the holiday weekend honoring our country\, service members\, and freedom as a community. \n\n\n\nThis mural depicts a snapshot of the battle at Fort McHenry\, and the inspiration behind the drafting of the "Star Spangled Banner." The mural was requested by and for the members of the Paradise Veterans Group\, sketched and painted by Steve Ferchaud. Steve is a celebrated local artist who continues to provide the community with legacy art pieces for all to enjoy. Jess Mercer served as project manager and concept designer.\n\n\n\nThe image not only represents an historic battle in our country's history\, but also parallels the history of the Ridge community. The concept was inspired by local veterans who first returned to Paradise after the Camp Fire to see the hall still standing amongst the destruction. Come celebrate this accomplishment with your community and local veterans who brought this project to reality!
