DESCRIPTION:Veterans Day Parade of Flags\n\n \n\nPeople come from miles around to view the spectacular Paradise Parade of flags. Since July 4\, 2000\, a Parade of Flags has been in place along the Skyway in Magalia as well\, due to the efforts of the Magalia Beatification Association. \n\n \n\nRead about the history of this spectacular event here \n\n \n\nCreating this spectacle for our community and visitors requires volunteers. While many people are committed to be a part of the flag teams each Memorial Day\, 4th of July\, and Veterans Day\, help is needed. Scout troops\, churches\, veterans\, retired individuals\, or those looking to be a part of a long-standing tradition\, you can help!\n\n \n\nVolunteers Needed for Veterans Day\, Wednesday\, November 11\, 2020:  \n\n \n\nMorning crew (Flag Posting Team) meet at the shipping container at the old Elks location\, (1100 Elk Lane\, off Clark) at 6:00 AM. \n\n \n\nAfternoon crew (Flag Retreat Team) meet at the corner of Neal and Skyway at 4:30 PM. Bring a truck and a friend!
