SUMMARY:Habitat 30 Year Anniversary Kick-Off Celebration
DESCRIPTION:2023 marks the 30 Year Anniversary of Habitat for Humanity of Butte County. As you know\, we are dedicated to a world where everyone has a decent place to call home and especially in Paradise! We have much to celebrate and more to build. \n\n \n\nAt our 30 Year Anniversary Kick-Off celebration\, we will be hearing from Paradise officials and homeowners\, as well as invite guests to write a message to families on the walls of the house that will have been just framed.\n\n \n\nBefore the Camp Fire\, we were building 1-2 homes per year in Chico. Now we have dedicated ourselves to building in Paradise and completed seven homes this past year. Eight homes are lined up for 2023 and four of those families have already started their sweat equity. The other four families are soon to be selected. Applications are currently available and due April 17-21st. Applications for future families will likely open twice per year. Check our website for exact dates and please spread the word.\n\n \n\nAs you know\, a new home with an affordable mortgage supports families as they focus on parenting\, school\, work\, PLUS helps rebuild the Town of Paradise. We know that affordable homeownership leads to healthier families\, stronger communities and is a permanent solution for families.\n\n\n\nWith our goal to build ten homes a year and maintain this growth for the next 10-15 years\, we need your partnership to continue our momentum.
