DESCRIPTION:Missed the Good Fire Festival or our other events?\n\n\n\nJoin us for this free offering\, Good Fire Workshops \n\n\n\nSpaces are limited!\n\nRegister here: tinyurl.com/goodfire2-28-26\n\nA free\, hands-on workshops exploring beneficial fire as a tool for stewardship\, safety\, and healing:\n\nIndigenous Cultural Fire   He-Lo Ramirez (BCCER) will cover how California Indians have used fire since time immemorial to care for ecosystems and communities as well as ecological and cultural benefits of intentional fire. \n\nPrescribed Fire in Practice   David Mitchell (Butte County RCD) will explore fire behavior\, safety\, and prescribed burning techniques as well as offer opportunities to participate in a microcasting demonstration and get hands-on experience with live fire. \n\nPyrotherapy (Fire Therapy)   Blake Ellis\, ASW (BCCER)\, whose work was recently featured in Atmos\, will use storytelling\, grounding\, mindfulness and nature-based practices to help reimagine our relationship with fire and address wildfire trauma.\n\n\n\nWe'll wrap up with tamales and refreshments over the fire.
