Stick around after the hike to play in the water. The Ridge Hiking Association will be paying for your water equipment rentals at the Forebay (kayaks\, paddleboards\, canoes\, floats\, rafts\, etc.). Feel free to bring your own if you'd rather use something you're familiar with. We will be meeting at the Thermalito Forebay (930 Garden Dr\, Oroville\, CA) at 9:00 AM for a short fun hike and water day this Saturday\, July 10th. Bring $8 for parking. We will begin our day with a short hike on the Rattlesnake Hill Loop\, which is an easy trail just over almost two miles total in distance. This trail loops around the Forebay\, which will be a great way to work up a sweat while it's still cooler in the morning. Bring your own towels\, sunscreen\, water and snacks\, and be sure to wear a swimsuit under your hiking clothes.
