SUMMARY:Camp Fire Restoration Project May Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:Camp Fire Restoration Project will hold a May Day Camp at Sol Sanctuary in Paradise and invites the community to come out and learn about CFRP's projects and participate in ecosystem restoration. The event will take place over two days\, Saturday\, April 30th and Sunday\, May 1st\, with Sunday 10 am to 6 pm being the main event.\n\n\n\nGroup activities\, demonstrations and opportunities for education will be going on throughout both days\, starting with a field trip from 2 pm to 6 pm on Saturday to Concow to see post-fire restoration efforts and learn about off-grid living. Camping is available at Sol Sanctuary Saturday night\, featuring a fireside open mic and chat.\n\n\n\nSunday's events will include a guided forest therapy walk\, an interactive community composting demonstration\, tree giveaway\, Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) presentation\, the premiere of a documentary film on building greywater systems\, and a property tour of restoration efforts. A mobile kitchen will serve lunch\, soup and snacks\, and of course there will be a maypole!\n\n\n\nCFRP's Executive Director\, Janeva Sorenson\, said\, "This marks the return of our ecosystem restoration camps after two years of COVID.
